I don't mean slow cooking as in the trend... I mean slow cookin' in my good ol' slow cooker! Love my SC... prep and pop it in, turn the dial to low and it feels like someone else is cooking dinner. Especially walking in from outside and getting hit in the schnozzle by this odeur of savories melding and slowly bubbling away. Nothing. I mean nothing like it!
Lately I've taken to lining up a SC recipe and ingredients for Jim to prep on the weekend. The roles are reversed. He cooks and I assist. T'is fun. At least I enjoy it (I think he does to although he likes to pretend he's being coerced).
